Is a one-day celebration honoring the Hispanic, primarily Mexican, celebration known as Dia de los Muertos (Day of Remembrance for the Dead).This event has become the gallery’s biggest community outreach project. It exists to increase cultural understanding between the Hispanic and Non-Hispanic communities of north and central Alabama educate adults, as well as children, about the history, tradition, and art of Day of the Dead facilitate true community art installation by allowing visual artists and the general public to work side by side in the creation of public art.
